“Young & Holy” is the series of meetings for presenting to young people testimonies of their peers who lived and strived for holiness. This initiative is organized by the Archdiocese of Perugia-Città della Pieve in preparation for the next Synod.

After the first meeting on Thursday, October 26th, on Carlo Acutis, the Oratory of San Barnaba will host a conference entitled “Everything is Joy,” dedicated to Santina Campana, who will be presented by Mario De Luca, member of the Magnificat Community of Perugia. On Thursday, November 16th, at the Oratory of Marsciano, the young Franciscan Father Paolo Zampollini will present the figure of Chiara Luce Badano in a conference entitled “I have everything.”

Don Bosco will be at the center of the last meeting, on November 30th, devoted to the theme: “A Young Saint because,” with the intervention of Fr. Giorgio Colajacomo, director of the Salesian Institute “Don Bosco” in Perugia.

“These initiatives—explains Fr. Luca Delunghi, director of the diocesan office for Youth Ministry—, through the choice of the places where the meetings will be held, want to draw the attention of both adolescents and adults to the importance of experiences in oratories for the formation of young people.”
