With families for families

Msgr. Carlos Simón Vázquez received Mother Jana Zawieja, Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, in the Dicastery’s family and life section.

Founded in 1875 by Mother Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd (born Frances Siedliska), the Congregation’s founding charisma is to serve the family. “With Families for Families” summarizes their mission.

Present in many lands on the five continents, one of the cornerstones of the Congregation’s apostolate, together with a large variety of pastoral projects carried out in the “family style” (that is, involving all its members in the pastoral ministry), is their daily prayer for all families.
