Hearts in Unison with the Pope

“We are delighted to be able to offer you indications on how to participate in the IX World Meeting of Families, which will be held from 21 to 26 August in Dublin.” This is the incipit of the letter that the Italian Bishops’ Conference (CEI) sent to the Diocesan Offices of Family Ministry in Italy with the aim of better coordinating the participation in this great Irish event.

“The theme of the IX World Meeting of Families: ‘The Gospel of the Family: Joy for the World,’ coincides—writes the CEI—with that of our Week of Studies on ‘Paths of Happiness in the Man-Woman Alliance.’ It is heartening to know that our heart and that of many families beat in unison with that of the Holy Father, in the quest for true joy.”
