A course of formation on family pastoral ministry for consecrated persons and lay facilitators is proposed by the Italian Union of Major Superiors in collaboration with the Center for Studies Capax Vitæ and the support of the Pastoral Office of the Italian Bishops’ Conference.

“Accompanying, discerning, integrating according to Amoris Laetitia” is the theme of the course, with the participation of scholars from different scientific fields interested in family issues, accustomed to direct relations with consecrated persons in the exercise of their pastoral care, and with experience of listening to the reality of conjugal and family life.

This course will look at the family from biblical, theological, spiritual, anthropological, sociological, psychological, and therapeutic viewpoints. Attention will be focused on the formation in discernment and accompaniment, enriched by appropriate tools for understanding the complexity and different realities of married couples and families.
