A Joy to Share

“Sharing in the Joy of Love in Marriage and Family” is the title of the pastoral plan proposed by the Archdiocese of Washington for implementing the Apostolic Exhortation “Amoris Laetitia” at the parish level.

The plan, which aims to “share the joy of love in marriage and in the family,” considers—reads the website of the Archdiocese —considers the challenges that individuals, couples and families encounter today in a highly secularized culture, and encourages parishes to serve as welcoming places for all.

The pastoral plan is available on the website of the Archdiocese in the section “Amoris Laetitia”, and printed copies in English and in Spanish were sent to all 139 parishes in Washington.
