The World Youth Day Magazine, in an issue dedicated to the World Youth Day which took place in Panama in 2019, is now available for free online on the website of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family, and Life.

For the past thirty years, the magazine has been an official testimony to the fruitful dialogue between the Holy Father and young people. Published by the John Paul II Youth Foundation as a single issue containing multiple languages, (English, Spanish, French, and Italian) the World Youth Day Magazine accompanies every World Youth Day, documenting its development with a wide selection of images and with brief but incisive texts—it is a means of re-inspiring the millions of young people who have participated or will participate in World Youth Day by reminding them of their experiences, their encounters, and the highlights of the event.

Issue 25 of the magazine, focused on WYD Panama 2019, marks the beginning of the magazine’s stable internet presence, without compromising on the publication’s usual content: i.e., a multitude of images along with, naturally, the key words of the Holy Father’s addresses and the resonance of these words in the testimonies given by the young people who were able to attend the meeting with Pope Francis in person.

Finally, a space is also dedicated to the Conference: “Youth for Our Common Home: Ecological Conversion in Action,” the third meeting of which was held in Panama, for the deeper understanding and living out of the Encyclical Laudato Si’, and for the safeguarding of creation.
