Pope Francis appoints 11 new Dicastery Members

The Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed ad quinquennium as Members of the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life:

H.E. Msgr. Josep Ángel Saiz Meneses – Archbishop of Seville (Spain); Rev. Fr. Andrea D’Auria, F.S. C.B – Director of the International Center of Communion and Liberation; Rev. Fr. Luis Felipe Navarro Marfá – Dean of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome (Italy); Mr. and Mrs. Benoît and Véronique Rabourdin – International Directors of Love and Truth of the Emmanuel Community; Mr. and Mrs.  Joseph Teyu Chou and Clare Jiayann Yeh – respectively Professor at the Department of Public Finance of the National Chengchi University in Taipei (Taiwan) and Founder and Director of the Marriage and Family Pastoral Center of the  Chinese Regional Bishops Conference; Prof. Ana María Celis Brunet – President of the Consejo Nacional para la Prevención de abusos y acompañamiento de víctimas of the Episcopal Conference of Chile; Prof. Maria Luisa Di Pietro – Director of the Center for Research and Studies on Procreative Health of the Sacred Heart Catholic University in Rome (Italy); Dr. Margaret Karram – President of the Work of Mary (Focolare Movement); Prof. Carmen Peña García – Professor of Matrimonial Law at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid (Spain).

The new Members, whose appointments were published today in the Bulletin of the Holy See Press Office, join those previously appointed and all those still in office, an updated list of which can be found on this website on the Members and Consultors page.

The Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life expresses its congratulations to the newly appointed Members who, together with the Consultors, enrich the Dicastery thanks to the universal face of the Church they represent as men and women, single and married, engaged in different fields of activity, coming from different parts of the world.
