Education and family
In the latest issue of the journal Educatio Catholica, an in-depth study on: “Education and Family”

To close off the "Amoris Laetitia Family" Year, the journal Educatio Catholica has dedicated the monographic section of issue No. 4/2022 to the relationship between "Education and Family," the result of the collaboration between the Dicastery for Culture and Education and the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life. The topic offers an opportunity to highlight some crucial educational challenges that have been placed before the Church and society today. They call for clear and effective strategies even from the pastoral point of view.
Contributions come from experts specialized in anthropology, theology, psychology, pedagogy, law and economics, as well as people engaged at various levels in the pastoral field. A common thread running through all the interventions is Pope Francis’ Magisterium, with particular reference to Amoris Laetitia: indeed, in the Apostolic Exhortation the educational challenge is present in a cross-cutting way and is intertwined with the vocation to family love.
We would particularly like to highlight the contribution of Professor Gabriella Gambino, Undersecretary of the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, on the topic, "Family, Moral Education and Responsible Freedom". Experts contributing to the monograph section include Philippe Bordeyne, Julia M. Dezelski, María Teresa Cid Vásquez, Luigino Bruni, Raffaella Iafrate and Elena Canzi, Robert Cheaib.
