The second day of Yes to Life, with Amy Kuebelbeck as conference moderator, was dedicated to international aspects.  There were testimonials and reports given by Ukraine, United States, France and Spain. The first, moving moment was the tribute to the memory of Chiara Corbello Petrillo by her spiritual adviser, Father Vito D’Amato.

Other talks were given on the experiences of perinatal hospices in different contexts. Sister Giustina Holubets talked about her experience of the “Imprint of Life" Association operating in Ukraine and which in recent years has provided support to more than 40 families. “For parents – said Sister Giustina - this small, brief life, like a meteor, has demonstrated the richness of life and revealed a great strength that sustained them”.

Byron Calhoun  and John Lantos, both from the United States, explained how, during the last 50 years the concept of perinatal hospices has grown and how the foetus began to be considered as a true and proper patient to be treated in a multidimensional manner. Specifically, several speakers, including Carlo Bellieni, dealt with the matter of foetal pain and the need to provide adequate analgesia to avoid this as much as possible.
