Family and Life
In the light of the Praedicate Evangelium, the responsibilities entrusted to the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life include the pastoral care of the family and its mission according to God's plan, as well as the pastoral care of the elderly and the promotion and safeguard of human life.
As part of family ministry, the Dicastery promotes and coordinates the celebration of the World Meetings of Families.
