The Prefect Card. Farrell Special Envoy in Washington
On 8 December, the dome of the Holy Trinity in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception will be inaugurated

Pope Francis has appointed the Prefect Card. Kevin Farrell to be his special envoy at the inauguration of the dome depicting the Most Holy Trinity in the Basilica of the US National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington DC.
The ceremony is scheduled for 8 December 2017.
This Basilica is the largest Catholic church in the United States, the eighth largest church building in the world and the tallest in Washington.
Cardinal Farrell served as Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Washington, from 2001 to 2007.
