The Church in Sydney is very excited about the two upcoming major events: the World Meeting of Families and the World Youth Day.
“We are preparing for the event in Dublin—explains the Metropolitan Archbishop of Sydney and Australia’s Primate Msgr. Anthony Fisher, in a short interview for us with the Franciscans of Mary—mainly by naming families to send to Ireland, and before of the departure we are investing a lot in pastoral preparation.”
Regarding Panama, the Archbishop emphasizes that many young people will leave Sydney to “experience the marvelous joy of faith expressed in sharing with millions of other young people from all over the world.”
