Pope Francis
Accompanying today’s families with love, respect, and guidance
The video message with the Holy Father’s prayer intentions for July is shared through the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network
While the pandemic continues to be a scourge on many parts of the world, the Holy Father has not forgotten families, recalling how they are “the foundation of society, […] the most suitable structure for ensuring the necessary integral good for the ongoing development of the human person.”
In the video message with the prayer intentions for the recently-begun month of July, Pope Francis insists on the necessity of the Church “encouraging families and remaining close to them, helping them to find ways to overcome their difficulties.” Hence the prayer that all families may be “accompanied with love, respect, and guidance.”
