Youth of the Work of Mary - Focolare Movement

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the foundation, on last December 7, Pope Francis received the group leaders of the Focolare Movement - the Work of Mary, accompanied by the President Margaret Karram, and the co-President Jesús Morán.

At 6:00 on the same day at the Basilica of St. Mary Major, a Mass of thanksgiving was celebrated for the 80 years of the Focolare Movement, presided over by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family, and Life.

We publish the homily pronounced by the Prefect of the Dicastery wishing the many participants, who came from different parts all over the world, to remain "at the crossroads of today" -  using the expression by Pope Francis during the General Audience on November 29th - with the same confident and generous attitude as Mary.
