CHILE
Duopoly: The Table Game for Couples
The Community of Christian Life proposes a resource by inspired Ignatian spirituality to strengthen relationships

One dice, two chips, 80 cards with questions, and a board of colored squares on which the four pillars of the couple—communication, daily life, sexuality, and planning—cross.
The table game “Duopoly” is one of the tools proposed by Chile’s Community for Christian Life (CVX) to strengthen relationships by putting the Ignatian spirituality at the service of families and the Church.
“The guiding verbs of this process—the promoters explain—are accompanying, integrating, and discerning, according to the logic of the Gospel of mercy. Thus, every family, whatever its situation may be, can be and feel part of the people of God.”
Before starting the game, each couple becomes a part of a team, with the invitation to dialogue on the basis of elementary but fundamental rules: listening, recognition, support, resolution, and action.
