A meeting at the Dicastery with a study group on the anthropology of sexuality

A few days ago, a meeting of researchers specialized in the anthropology of sexuality was held in the congress hall of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life.

This casual encounter brought together Blanca Castillo de Cortazar, member of the Real Academia de Doctores de España; Giorgia Salatiello and Luis Fernando Guitiérrez of the Gregorian Pontifical University; and by Anita Cadavid, Javier Rubio, Fathers Juan Gabriel Ascencio and Alejandro Páez of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. After the greeting of the Dicastery’s Secretary, Father Alexandre Awi Mello, the meeting, coordinated by Fr. José Guillermo Gutiérrez Fernández, continued with the aim of mutual listening and seeking ways to support and stimulate reflection on the anthropology of sexual difference.
