Youth
To Panama for a Better World
At the Dicastery, a meeting of the delegation of the World Youth Day organizing committee

“We have an appointment to continue dreaming of a different world: January 2019.” The Archbishop of Panama, José Domingo Ulloa, said this in a video interview with us after the General Audience on 18 April, during which he offered Pope Francis a pair of sneakers representing the pilgrimage of young people to the World Youth Day.
The delegation of the WYD organizing committee also visited our Dicastery to define the program of an international meeting to be held in Panama from 7 to 9 June. This meeting will bring together nearly 250 delegates representing the different Bishops’ Conferences as well as movements, associations, and new communities engaged in youth ministry at the international level.
