Towards Easter
Praying in the Family
A resource for Lent from the diocese of Rome

“We want prayer to become once again the normal and daily breath of each of the faithful and of their communities of life and work, starting with the reality of the family.” This is the wish of Rome’s Archbishop Vicar, Msgr. Angelo De Donatis, that has found its first concrete realization in the resource prepared for the time of Advent and, now, in the new publication “Praying in the Family. A Path in Preparation for Easter,” elaborated by the Liturgical office of the Vicariate. “The home—continues Msgr. De Donatis— is the place where there is a true, small domestic Church that allows even the youngest to speak and proclaims, in the family, the message of salvation with its proposal for conversion and the echoes that it arouses in people of different ages and conditions.”
