Dublin: Bernardino Giordano
A Dance that Makes the Family Strong
At the panel session on the third day of the Congress, Fr. Bernardino Giordano intervened on “Dancing Towards the Future with Hope: Strengthening Marriage and the Family Today.”
Through the great principle: the mystery of God that shapes the family by drawing inspiration from Himself, “every couple, one’s own couple, contains the image of God; there are no series A and series B couples, but all have this dignity.” Giving new strength to marriage and to the family “means recognizing the gift received in the sacrament of marriage: with the Sacrament of Matrimony, Jesus has entered forever into your home!” We are convinced that since the wedding day, “no marriage is meant to be a small love. All marriages are made to become a great love.” Hence, it is a journey of growth and the strengthening of marriage that leads the couple to be witnesses of hope.
