Video message of Undersecretary Gambino to the Episcopal Conference of Colombia

Reviewing the methodologies and content of programs for the premarital formation of young people, accompaniment within marriage, making spouses the protagonists in the pastoral care of families, supporting parents in the education of their children; and furthermore, making room for a commitment to the pastoral care of the elderly and vulnerable persons within families: these are the urgent tasks within the pastoral ministry to families, according to Undersecretary Gabriella Gambino, who created a video message addressed to the Episcopal Conference of Colombia on the occasion of their 110th plenary assembly. The pastoral care of the of family, she adds: “has a great challenge ahead of it: showing new generations that family life is not only a matter of fatigue and difficulty, but that it is also a joy, a vocation, and a path to happiness.”
