Arise! A song for the 2021 WYD
An initiative of the Ramon Pané Foundation for the WYD to be held on the Solemnity of Christ the King
In his Message to the youth for the 2020 WYD, celebrated in the particular churches, Pope Francis invited the youth to propose "something beautiful, whether in the realm of the spirit, the arts or society” to the world, to the Church, to other youth.
For several years now, in many parts of the world, episcopal conferences, dioceses, eparchies, and movements have been proposing initiatives to promote the Holy Father's annual message and the path of preparation for the international edition of WYD.
Among the many initiatives that have developed in this area, the Ramon Pané Foundation has launched a song inspired by the theme of WYD 2021, which will be held in particular churches on the Solemnity of Christ the King.
This is not an official hymn, rather it is yet another tool to help spread the Lord and His Vicar’s invitation amongst young people - through art and music: ARISE!
