Pope Francis appoints 10 new Dicastery Consultors
The Holy Father Pope Francis has appointed as Consultors of the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life: Reverend Monsignor Simone Renna, Under-Secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy; Reverend Dario Vitali, Professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome; Reverend Father Amedeo Cencini, F.d.C.C., Psychologist and Psychotherapist; Reverend Father Justin Glyn, S.I., General Counsel for the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus; Reverend Sister Mary Niluka Perera, R.B.P., Coordinator of the Catholic Care for Children International project of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG); Mr and Mrs. Ryan and Mary-Rose Verret, Co-Founders of Witness to Love; Dr. Maria Luisa Ceriotti, Child Neuropsychiatrist and Psychotherapist; Ms. Julia M. Dezelski, Assistant Director for Marriage and Family Life Ministry in the Committee for Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops; Ms. Chiara Griffini, Member of the Presidential Council of the National Service for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Persons of the Italian Bishops' Conference.
The new Consultors, whose appointments were published today in the Bulletin of the Holy See Press Office, join those previously appointed and all those still in office, an updated list of which can be found on this website on the Members and Consultors page.
The Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life expresses its congratulations to the newly appointed Consultors who, together with the Members, enrich the Dicastery thanks to the universal face of the Church they represent as men and women, single and married, engaged in different fields of activity, coming from different parts of the world.
