Meeting and gathering in community, to receive the proclamation of the Gospel
The Neocatechumenal Way visiting the Dicastery
The initiator of the Neocatechumenal Way, Kiko Argüello, together with Father Mario Pezzi and María Ascensión Romero, members of the International Team, were received on a visit by the Prefect of the Dicastery, Card. Kevin Farrell, on February the 2nd.
Also, present at the meeting were Gleison De Paula Souza, Secretary, and Linda Ghisoni, Undersecretary. The visit was an opportunity for an update on the most recent activities of the Neocatechumenal Way, including the World Covenant, which the team had also discussed with Pope Francis in the audience granted a few days earlier in the Apostolic Palace.
The International Team spoke about what is happening in this post-pandemic period: the Neocatechumenal Way is experiencing an increased need for people to meet each other, to come together in community, to receive the proclamation of the Gospel.

The Neocatechumenal Way The Neocatechumenal Way is an itinerary of Catholic instruction at the service of the bishop as one of the diocesan ways of implementing Christian initiation and ongoing education in the faith. It encourages mission ad gentes not only in mission countries, but also in those of long-standing Christian tradition. It is an instrument for the Christian initiation of adults who are preparing to receive Baptism according to the norms contained in the Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum.
