On 1 and 2 June in Dublin, a meeting of delegates from around the world

Preparations are actively being made for the World Meeting of Families that will take place in 2018, in Dublin. On 1 and 2 June, the delegates will arrive in the Irish capital and be welcomed by Msgr. Diarmuid Martin, Dublin’s Archbishop and President of the World Meeting.
After the introduction by Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, Msgr. Peter Doyle, Bishop of Northampton, will speak on the commitment of the Bishops of England and Wales in the area of marriage and the family. This intervention will be followed by an exchange on marriage preparation.
The conclusions will be made by Msgr. Denis Nulty of “Accord,” the Catholic marriage care service, and Martin Kennedy will present the meeting’s program. The next day will be dedicated to visiting the places where the event will take place in August 2018.
