The Memorandum in view of 2019 World Youth Day in Panama has been signed

The preparations for the World Youth Day in Panama are quickly advancing. This morning, a delegation of the Local Organizing Committee, led by Msgr. Ulloa, was received by Card. Farrell and several officials of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life.

During the meeting for analyzing the event’s logistic and procedural aspects, a joint Memorandum, detailing their cooperative methods, was signed by the Dicastery and the Archdiocese. Furthermore, the operational diagram was approved. This document is, in fact, redesigned after each WYD and reflects the organizational experience gained from previous meetings of the young.

The preparation is also advancing on other fronts: until 17 February, Panama’s citizens have the possibility to participate in the hymn and logo contest of #Panama2019.
