Towards the Synod with the Cross
Today the Via Crucis will be presided by Prefect Farrell for the young people gathered for the pre-Synodal meeting

Today, Prefect Kevin Farrell will preside over the Via Crucis that will set out from the cloister of the Basilica of St. John Lateran and go through the streets of Rome.
This is one of the events related to the pre-Synod week, which began on Monday and will end on Saturday, March 24th.
The event intends to bring together, in addition to the young Romans, the 315 young people from the five continents who are attending the meeting in view of the XV Ordinary Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the theme “Young people, the Faith and Vocational Discernment,” scheduled to be held in Rome from 3 to 28 October of this year.
Absolute protagonists, as the General Secretary Lorenzo Baldisseri recalled, the young people are “at the same time the focus and the actors of this synodal path, called to listen to their Pastors but also called to speak to their Pastors, to open their hearts to them, in a virtuous circularity which is the very essence of ecclesial synodality.”
