#Synod2018
Announcement of the faith and vocational proposal to the young people in the Ecclesial Movements

The Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life has provided the Synod Fathers, gathered together in Rome at this time, with a set of the reports presented by the Ecclesial Movements on the occasion of the annual meeting with the general moderators of the Lay Associations, Ecclesial Movements and New Communities.
For this meeting, promoted by the Dicastery several months ago, 50 Ecclesial organisations have reflected on the topic of the Synod of Bishops “Young people, the faith and vocational discernment”.
Participants were invited to present apostolic initiatives addressed to young people or undertaken together with the young people themselves in two contexts, announcement of the faith and vocation, that had been implemented successfully within their own ecclesial group. Therefore, this did not involve presenting any theoretical projects or ideas for the future, but what had actually already taken place or what was being done and this proved to be very effective in the context of pastoral care of young people.
The booklet we are now proposing to give to the Synod Fathers contains a summary of the main points which have emerged from the written reports sent by the participants at the meeting.
