A special year to grow in family love

At the end of the Sunday Angelus Prayer, the Holy Father Francis recalled the upcoming opening of the Year of the Family "Amoris Laetitia Family". The Pope referred to "Amoris Laetitia Family" Year as "a special year to grow in family love". He invited all to a "renewed and creative pastoral drive to place the family at the centre of the attention of both Church and society". Concluding his invitation, the Pontiff assured prayers "that every family may feel in its own home the living presence of the Holy Family of Nazareth, that it may fill our small domestic communities with sincere and generous love, a source of joy even in trials and difficulties".
The Dicastery for  Laity, Family and Life, which is coordinating the activities of the "Amoris Laetitia Family Year", is grateful to the Holy Father for having renewed the invitation and is preparing to launch the celebrations on 19 March.
