Work in Progress for Dublin
A meeting at our Dicastery focused on the families who will present their testimony at the Festival

A few days ago, a preparatory meeting for the World Meeting of Families was held in the offices of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life.
The participants were the Dicastery’s Secretary, Fr. Alexandre Awi Mello; Msgr. Carlos Simón Vázquez, the delegate of the Dicastery’s Section for the Family; Fr. Colin Rothery of the Diocese of Dublin, responsible for the relations between the Dicastery and the Irish Church this year; Anna and Alberto Friso, responsible for the New Focolare Family Movement and already members of the Pontifical Council for the Family; and our collaborator Dr. Marco Brusati, who is an expert in great ecclesial events.
This meeting was focused on the Festival of Testimonies. After discussing the progress of the preparations for the Festival, the discussion turned to the profiles of some families on the international scene, who concretely live some fundamental themes of Amoris Laetitia.
At the end of October, the group will encounter a large Irish delegation. At that time the Meeting’s preparatory catechesis will be ready and disseminated.
