Living water for whoever thirsts for peace

The General Assembly of the Catholic Women’s Organisations  is being held in Dakar, Senegal until 22nd October on the topic: “Women, carriers of living water to a world which thirsts for Peace”.

Participants at the meeting have come from thirty-five countries in all five continents. Among the speakers, Linda Ghisoni, Undersecretary of our Dicastery on “The Women of WUCWO, carriers of living water  in the light of Evangelii gaudium and Amoris laetitia”.

WUCWO’s aim is to promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of women in the Church and society in order to fulfil their mission of evangelization and human development.

The Assembly meets every 4 years in order to take stock of the situation with  member organisations and face future challenges better.
